Bedtime Stories Baby Shower Part 1

Happy Friday! Ive been meaning to post these pictures for a while but Ive finally had time to sort and edit them during this mini vacation. Heres a baby shower that friends and I threw for our good friend Diana and her little Noah whos due any day now.

The adorable invites were designed by Jennafer of Oh Creative One on Etsy. She contacted me to partner on the project and I love how they turned out! Jennafer was wonderful to work with and turned my broad ideas of a colorful starry sky, cute little owls and a bedtime story book into the perfect invite.

Im not sure where the idea of a Bedtime Stories shower originated from but I loved that I could decorate with everything books.

The 2012 Calendar: An Awesome Print Trend

Finding great calendars can sometimes be a challenge! So many people resort to the cute little cuddly cat or puppy calendars you find at the local store. While those calendars may be cute, they lack sophistication, and lets face it… style!

When I was younger, and when I say that I mean, before I had kids, I carried a beautiful Franklin Covey planner. It was pink leather, and I had a messenger bag to match. Handmade by Donna Wilson, this particular one is knitted in Scotland from lambs wool and then stuffed. Just love the pattern and color! How about you? $336.

There’s just something so magical about a beautifully wrapped gift, and it’s easy, you just have to think outside the box. Literally.

The first pointer: personality, personality, personality. And I mean that in more way than one. Wrap your gift in accordance to the recipient’s personality, but also let the package alone beam with it’s own character and charm. Here are

A-Frame Houses

December 15, 2011 Kai Ethier

Did you ever watch the 1997 movie The Sweet Hereafter, directed by Atom Egoyan? I liked it but also found it rather depressing (if you haven’t seen it, the plot revolves around a school bus crash). To be honest, I cannot recall many of the details of the film but the one thing that stands out in my mind is the snow covered A-frame house pictured below.

Since this encounter with an A-frame house, it’s kind of been my dream to live in one. I
