I have a new favorite day of the week. I’ll give you a hint: it’s not Monday. I would assume that most peoples’ favorite day of the week can be immediately narrowed down to a choice of three days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As I’ve grown older, I’ve traveled through a time in my life where each of those days was my favorite day of the week.

Vinyl windows can be virtually maintenance free but occasional a window seal failure cause quite a headache! Window seal failures are usually pretty easy to diagnose once you know what to look for. In the picture below you can see an example of a vinyl window seal failure that we had to repair at our home.

A close-up view of the window shown above makes the window appear to have frost on it. At first I thought that was the case however I quickly learned there was no frost.

This picture is of a house across the street from a home I inspected in Lexington, MA. Pretty, isn’t it? Built in 1737 and is currently maintained by the Lexington Historical Society.
It is the Hancock-Clarke house where Sam Adams and John Hancock met on ‘the day of the alarm’, Apr 19, 1775 (Better known to many as the battles of Lexington and Concord), and is the same house that Paul Revere and William Dawes set out to reach from their individual origination points in Boston and Cambridge.
