Glam up Your Bath

We’d all love to take on a bathroom renovation at some point, but budget and the disruption of construction can be daunting. In the meantime, it’s easy with accessories to make a fresh and playful change. One of the easiest things to affect the theme is changing your shower curtain.

Recently, I was in the Bed Bath & Beyond store on Wolf Road in Colonie and these glitzy items caught my eye as I envisioned a glamorous sexy bathroom using them. First up, a gorgeous shower curtain called Romana with a bold black silklike band across the bottom and adorned with embroidery and a smattering of sequins for $44.99. Next

My Hunt for the Perfect Bedroom Furniture

In my hunt for just the exact bedroom furniture collection, I measured whether I and my family sought to fit with a solid timber or a more up to date polish or tinted look. For our wants, we settled on hardwood, purposely something made from cherry lumber, and started our search on the lookout for just the exact bedroom set.

Weekend project: Create a custom dry erase board

With a full time job, several blogging projects, and a mind that’s constantly working and creating — oh, and we can’t forget the husband and the kitty, too — I need organization in my life. I also have list making applications on my smartphone, which I depend on as much as my daily serving of chocolate. To be this organized, I still have a pet peeve; all of those little post-it notes I use are scattered all over my office desk and chair, around the computer monitor, and anywhere/everywhere else I can stick them to remember things. I want to
